OTS Episode 22 – Decision 2

GangHere is the final episode. This is my first time seeing this too because I wasn’t there when this all went down.

I love Philippe!! I’m typing while I watch this. I love that boy! He is the sweetest guy and I’m so thrilled to see him that happy!

What Johnny said to KellyeAnn was confusing to me, but I’m happy that she made the cut too because she has such talent AND a lot of hard earned skill that will be great in any performance situation.

My sweet Jacqui shouldn’t have doubted for a second that she was going to be one of the main characters of the show and one of the pillars of the band. I love that she was surprised or insecure in that moment. That’s a sweet humility that is loveable and shows what an incredible person she is (even if it think it is silly because she’s flawless to me).

Jeston and I had a few laughs while I was in LA. He’s a good guy and I think it was obvious that he knew he was going to make the band. He’s going to excel in this thing from the writing to the performing.

Ben shouldn’t have had a second thought. It seems like this band was formed around his song (Johnny actually said that). He really did become the hero of boot camp week.

I love James so much that I was secretly hoping he wouldn’t make the band so that I could record an album with him. James is not as experienced as some of the others, but he has a simply perfect voice. He knows what he enjoys to sing and he sings it miraculously. This whole sports thing was a story line that I always found dumb and didn’t really ring true. A musician shouldn’t be a look or a shirt, it should be a part of who you are. Not what you wear, but how you think and live. I would go on stage and perform with James if he was wearing a jersey and not think twice (and I hate sports). One day I hope you will hear songs with our voices together.

Little Jazz. She’s so special and I am so eager to see what she blossoms into. Her and I aren’t unlike each other in personality. She has a great sense of humour and can obviously sing brilliantly. Whatever she does it’s going to be world class. I just hope, like her song says, she doesn’t let those people, that money, that evil eat her alive. I know she’s strong, but things can get heavy. I love her and look forward to seeing  a star that makes a positive impact on this world from a little girl to a grown woman.

Check out my page to keep up with me too: Joel van Vliet! And maybe you’ll see me spending time with some of these wonderful people again in the future. There was a bond made that week which won’t soon be broken.

Thank you for watching.
