In this episode I leave the cast of On the Spot. You can watch it, of course. They had to cut all my reasons and the little word I had for the other contestants for time. It’s kind of nice because those words will always be between us.

It would have been difficult for me, in two weeks, to be ready to go to Florida for two months with no promise of an income. If I were just out of school or finishing up college and had no bills that I couldn’t just walk away from, I might have tried it out, but of course, I still would have had reservations about the nature of the band and that is the real reason I couldn’t have committed.

I know these guys are going to make cool music, but at that moment I couldn’t be confident that it was music I wanted to make. We were all singing Ben’s song, which isn’t a bad thing, but it’s something, as I said in my one on one with Johnny, that isn’t really a passion for me. These are the reasons for my leaving.
