Mark Spicoluk is a record man in Toronto who works A&R for Universal. This is the big time and a friend of mine, Michael Banks, has the chance to do a showcase for him!!

Michael Banks is the sort of musician you’re going to want to get to know quick to be able to say that you knew of him before he hit it big. He writes infectious melodies over really intelligent guitar work. He fills the whole sonic space with very detailed riffs and movements that you can imagine an orchestra coming out of one simple acoustic.

I don’t want to make it sound like his music is only going to be appreciated by musicians though, the girls swoon for his sweet voice and his lyrics fill your head with creative images.

Michael is going to be playing at the Rivoli in Toronto on June 8th for Spicoluk and he NEEDS you to show up and give him support. The great thing is that you’ll just be enjoying a night of music and in turn his dreams might be realized.
